高通新一代旗艦行動晶片 Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 系列擁有最高 5 GHz 的超高時脈，但市場傳出有部分手機產品在高溫下會出下當機、黑螢幕情況，被外界解讀可能與架構或新的 2nm 製程存在缺陷有關，對此高通出面否認，表示產品沒有任何問題。

高通首席行銷官 Don McGuire 在社群網站 X 上發文回應大家的疑慮，表示 Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 不存在系統過熱問題，相關問題 OEM 夥伴們在產品推出後會持續調整。大家都永遠都是在效能與耗電之間針對各種場景取得最佳平衡。我們會持續努力為使用者們提供最佳體驗。

目前高通似乎是將問題歸咎於手機推出後，各家廠商還在調校與最佳化，才導致可能某些情況下發生異常個案，沒有真正意義上的硬體缺陷與災情。

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 系列今年使用相當激進的功耗策略，最大時脈最高可以標上 5 GHz，但架構本身屬於「Oryon +++」，自 2024 年的 Snapdragon 8 Elite，已經連三代使用相同架構，主要性能提升均來自製程提升與時脈。

有於當初 Intel 在第 13、14 代 Core 處理器上的「縮缸」災情還歷歷在目，肇因就是相同晶片架構硬超頻上去的結果，讓許多用戶與網友都將高通的情況進行對比。

不過目前搭載 Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 系列的手機產品只在中國推出，包含小米 18 系列、紅魔 12 Pro 系列等，國際市場最主力的三星則預計要到 2027 年才會推出，整體樣本數量還相當有限，究竟真的只是個案，還是高通在自欺欺人，還有待觀察。
